I think the only reason this has such a low rating is because it's a John Carpenter movie, is the guy not allowed to make a comedy or something? Anyway don't be afraid to check it out if you have the opportunity, far worse movies you could waste your time on.
shareI truly love this movie. I'm 28 and I've probably seen it 15 times since I was a kid. For me it's just as good (and entertaining) as Back to the Future.
shareYes. It's really quite well done, isn't it? I'm surprised it didn't do much better at the box office. Chevy and Daryl were a great pair and Sam Neill was at his foxiest in this. : )
shareI agree. This film isn't bad at all. Chevy, Sam, and Daryl were all pretty good. Also, the guy who plays George (Michael McKean) is the same guy who plays Chuck in Better Call Saul. He wasn't bad in this movie either.
