Would you take Neill's offer?
Be a lifetime fugitive or be a super secret agent?
shareIt certainly creates a dilemma, becoming spy may require you to abandon all of your morals and beliefs but at least you'd have some purpose. Or deny the offer like Nick did and essentially roam the planet with no way to connect to anyone or do anything.

Let's not forget that we don't really know if Neill was actually offering him a job or whether he was just using a job offer as a bait to catch Chevy and put him in a lab forever.
The movie does make this choice much easier once you know you'd have Daryl Hannah by your side as a runner. :) That's why it would've been interesting if they'd chose to keep the original ending (invisible children). This would've added a huge minus and consequences to the seemingly better option.
I would have run at first but probably taken his offer later on. I just can't imagine being completely on my own and on the run all the time, I don't think I could take it. I think I'd rather run the risk of being a lab rat for the rest of my life and take their offer.
shareIf he would mean it seriously, then I would probably take it. But even if Nick would have accepted it, he would never be really free. He could work for the CIA but I don´t think they would ever let him go.
sharedepends on the person. who's the guy who says you have to abandon all your morals and beliefs? what a stupid thing to say. unless you're a christian or a pacifist, being a spy doesn't encroach on one's belief at all. and spy work doesn't necessarily involve assassinations.
some people think the world will be fine and dandy if people just kept to themselves. clearly the religious fanatics or fascist regimes will just leave you alone.
lol, and you speak of morals.
I think your comment was meant for digitalboy72? You've replied to my first post instead.
shareUh that would also mean breaching people's privacy, framing people, taking information that would potentially lead your victim to execution when their agency finds out.
Unless your belief is to hurt as many people as possible, those few things would definitely qualify.
Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Good point.
