I love this movie, but I have a question....I never fully understood the

"palming of the bullet" scene.....are they saying that it was a blank that was in the gun? That was my take, but I wasn't positive

Who is ur daddy, and what does he do?

Well I'm no "slight-of-hand" artist but I always thought Malcolm actually removed the bullet from the gun without anyone (but Sophia) realizing what he'd done. When asked, he later showed the bullet to Shorty as though he'd been holding it all along.
