Rather than go there themselves to get Jack Travis on their own, why not go with backup? Riggs announces that there were policeman at every exit. Instead of bluffing, why not actually have policemen at every exit? They let Travis slip right through their fingers. It was only Riggs, Murtaugh, and Leo there to get Travis in a packed arena.
shareIf Riggs and Murtaugh used backup, then the films would have been short and boring lol. Like any good action movie, the others cops, SWAT team, ambulance, fire truck, helicopters and reporters all show up after the villain and his henchman are dead.
