Man, I hate Kit even more every time I see it. I love everything about the movie.....except Kit. Her entire role in the film irks me and I wish her character didn't even exist. I wish Kit got kicked out of the league and then I could get back to enjoying the film and the interaction of the teammates and the manager.
shareToo much Kit hate floating around this board. She is the bratty, insecure little sister and Lori Petty plays her to perfection.
Kit is supposed to be a little annoying. But I have also felt that she is kind of charming at times as well and her character plays an important role in the story. I really don't mind her at all and think the movie would probably be a lesser movie without her.
I really think A League of Their Own is an all-around excellent film, and it's one that unfortunately has been kind of forgotten over time.
I think many seem to forget characters are supposed to be loved or hated. They move the story along.
