Who do you trust?

So sad this is a REAL story. The real Jenny, Michelle Avila, trusted her friends and they killed her.
So iam wondering ,as you hear about stories like this quite often , who do you trust? Who teenagers should trust if they cant even trust their longtime friends?
This is so diturbing and shocking.
I think being a parent must be really hard, hard work.

When you can't even trust someone you grew up with
it seems you really are alone. And it makes me wonder
what other things the real Ellen was hiding from the
real Jenny.I hate to think that even the closest of
friends can either turn on the other. It's scarier to
be vetrayed by a longtime friend than someone your not
friend with because you should be able to relay on your
friends. And when you can't,it seems you're truly alone
in this world.I hope Ellen and that other girl stays in
prison at least till they're both 50.Nothing spells
betrayal more than being killed by one of your closest
friends.

Jenny trusted Ellen and Carla and was even friends with them for a long time. Her mother, Jean trusted them too and she regrets that now. They murdered Jenny out of jealousy and they deserved to be punished.

Trust is a rare thing and SHOULD be rare.

There were plenty of red flags about Ellen/Karen long before the murder, but everyone seemed too trusting.
