A similar case in 3/2006..another screwed up family
Here is a recent case involving 4 young children to meth addict parents whose home was filthy. The kids were removed and placed with DSS. The grandfather sued the foster family for custody, and thankfully lost. The report below states that when the grandfather had temporary custody, he still allowed contact between the loser bio parents, and refused to believe either parent was on drugs, even though they had arrests for possesion and both refuse to follow through with court ordered drug testing. I think the grandfather should be charged with disobeying a court order, but it looks like he has not been charged. I am glad the foster family prevailed in the end.
