Well they definitely aged her a bit for the 2009 segments where she's supposed to be 18 years older, not to mention she's 8 years older than Estevez IRL (38 at the time of the shoot)... and Estevez would have been around 29 when the movie was actually shot (although I think he was playing younger). I guess I'm saying that it's not that much of a stretch.
