Wouldnt you think....

A society that is so advanced as to be able to pull living people back from the past, thus, conquering the laws of physics and space time, would be able to figure out how to make people Healthier rather than resorting to complicated time travel?

It seems like a huge waste of resources. Why not focus on cloning or something instead of a very complicated time travel process to get bodies?

Just watched this on Netflix. Even high on Vicodin, the movie sucks.

in 1991 cloning wasn't a serious concept, i reckon. or maybe they couldnt figure out how to have a crazy car chase in those lego trucks without having a body to chase down.

when all else fails...chocolate saves the day!

Not to mention, cloning per se isn't that big of a miracle. Just about every movie that portrays cloning likes to skip over the really important part - you still have to actually grow the person, no different from how it works naturally. I never understood why most people never seem to think about this. In Multiplicity, Michael Keatons just sort of appear out of thin air. And in Fifth Element, Leeloo inflates like a raft. That's a hell of an advance in medical science right there.

So regarding this movie, if you have a terminal illness that takes less than 9 months to run its course, you'd be mind transfering into a fetus. Not sure how that would work but I doubt it would be ideal.
