I mean, he's always great, but IMO, he truly SHINES in this. Gossett and Platt are great as usual, but Woods steals each and every scene he's in!

Yes, I agree and hope you watched his recent TV outing 'Shark'. He's great as a lawyer who would just as soon chew you up and spit you out as deal with you. Of course, the writing always determines the greatness of a show, IMO, but the acting has to take a great script the rest of the way and JW does this very well.

another part I thought I'd mention.. and ONLY do cause it was a small one, in a MUCH larger ensemble.. but his job in "Any Given Sunday" as the team doctor.. was fantastic as well.. for such a small part especially as he lays down the REALITY to the idealistic younger doctor.
Never did see Shark.. not sure why.. just.. guess I got tired of all the lawyer shows.. now ONLY if they'd do a REAL sequel to JC's Vampires I'd be stoked..
A great role for what James Woods does. It feels like the part was written for his fast-talking, sly and slick shtick.
