Gregory Sierra - Amazingly UNDERRATED?

Anyone else feel Gregory Sierra played one of the all-time classic, underrated movie villian BASTARDS in this film?

I can't believe his (awesome, dreadful) performance hasn't been discussed more. To me, he was friggin' brilliant.

Thoughts?

barbosa was crazy, no doubt.. hard for me to believe that this was Julio from Sanford and Son..

I agree. Gregory Sierra gave a marvelously nasty performance as the ruthless Barbosa.
