Ivy

Ivy is one of the baddest dudes ever--popping off suckers, slanging rock and taking corners. Too bad he didn't take Fisburne more serious. At least he was able to urinate on him before he got taken out.

there should be a prequel about Ivy

His death reminded me of Ganz's death in 48 hours--it's like he thinks he's totally indestructable so he's shocked when he's finally taken out.

"Wild wild west mutha f(*ka!"

I love that part when he just casually drives up and says "I'm baaaaack" and shoots the girl. It's just so crazy.

Listen up sissy, this corner isnt yours anymore, its ours...so take this bit*h and get your weasle looking as* out of here.

LOL! His character's kinda like Clarence J. Boddick in RoboCop except I loved to hate Clarence more. I wonder though what the significance of Ivy's murder scene was.

Don't leave before the miracle happen...

Ivy was seriously the most memorable character in the movie.

Am I unreal? Am I a character who can’t possibly exist? – Alissa Rosenbaum

I know I'm a little late but I am watching this now. Larry Fishbourne's character laments (after he just killed Ivy) That he killed someone who looked just like him. Whose parents looked like his. And that the police didn't come after him or even show up at the murder scene. So probably that it's fine if Black people kill each other. Or if the cops kill Black people. Funny that way back in 92, people still had the sentiment of Black Lives Matter. Because they do! Peace

He is risen!

It reminded me of when Scarface killed that crooked cop after he killed Frank: the crooked cop tells Scarface to f__k off.

Ivy was a straight up gangsta, harder than hard. He really is such a strong character, it's too bad Bill Duke wrote the character to die early in the film. I mean, Ivy's death serves a big purpose in support of Hull's character arc, but, there could have been a way to write Ivy in to come back near the end and cause some chaos "I'm back mutha fuckas!"
