The worst thing about the lack of black cartoons is how lame the black characters are in the predominantly white ones. They are invariably the dorky sidekick of the white main character - something they've been doing since The New Archies and the older Power Rangers.

Kinda what I like about Static Shock - it turns this hackneyed cliche around and has the white kid play the nerd.

I also like Green Lantern in Justice League, they should give him and The Flash a spinoff (they were always teaming up in the comics after all, even if it was a different GL).

They are planning a cartoon of Aron Mcgruders popular comic strip Boondocks.

I think I may have saw a promo ad on adult swim. Didn't see any clips, or specific date, just that it's gonna debut on cartoon network soon.

November 6th at 11pm on Adult Swim. From the commercials it looks like the cartoon is going to be just as direct and funny as the comic strip.

We've never forgotten it in my family. We watch it every time it comes on BET. My teenage son has loved it since he was very small (I know, I'm a bad mommie for letting him watch something not entirely appropriate for young children... but it just made him laugh so hard, and I love to hear my kids laugh).
