Is Genie the best Disney Sidekick?

Aside from Timon & Pumbaa or Mushu, I don't think any sidekick from a Disney movie has come close to the Genie.

Is he really a "sidekick", though? The movie may be called Aladdin, but I would say Genie is also a main character. He gets a lot more screentime and character development than most sidekicks.

Genie is a sidekick and not a protagonist, but yeah.

He is THE best Disney sidekick ever, the biggest scene-stealer in the company's history, a bazillion times more fun than any other Disney sidekicks. Hell, even the rug in this film is ahead of most Disney sidekicks.

Yeah. Though I do like the sidekick characters in Beauty and the Beast almost as much.
