Jasmine running away

Does anyone else think it's weird that the movie never addresses this? Like didn't the Sultan realize she was missing? Since she isn't aloud to leave the palace he wouldn't notice that she was gone? And then after her first attempt to run away she doesn't try again and just mopes around. Her disappearing would have serious consequences since the heir to the throne was MIA. I kind of wish the movie addressed this.

Still love the film but i always thought this was weird.

I guess, but you really don't see Sultan from the scene with Jafar And he is not seen again until he finds Jasmine crying and he has her tell him everything even through ti is a short scene, so it is kind of hard to say if he knows if Jasmine ran away or not. So this is one of these questions that I would say that your guess is as good as my guess, if not even better then my guess. Also after all after what she expeirenced on the streets why owuld she want to run away again.

Not only that, but she was also found alone with a boy. I could see Jafar using that against her. I guess we have to assume that Jafar was too busy plotting his scheme involving Aladdin and that the Sultan was just too scatterbrained to notice. Maybe they all thought she was moping up in her room.

I guess your guess is as good as mine plus she escaped at night so who knows he could have been sleeping.

running away from home is strange.

I take it you never done it

And still found the whole idea strange as a kid.

I think one of her many servants should have noticed.

We don't know if she had "many" servants. But if they knocked on her bedroom door and would hear no answer, they might very well think as well that she was just moping in her room.
