Come on producers....

Let's get a tv movie made and let Reno clear his name. One 2 hour tv movie would be enough and I'm sure I'm not the only fan who thinks so.

Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up!

I agree lets wrap the show up!!

Yeah that would be nice.

I gotta agree to. The character of Reno Raines is probably my all-time favorite character (notice I said the character, not the acting) - it's a shame that they dragged viewers along for 5 years and didn't give us any resolution one way or the other.

I agree with you all. This was one of my all time favorite tv shows. They should make a movie so reno raines can clear his name. That would be so cool if they made a movie and lorenzo lamas should direct it.Because whatever you all say hes a good actor.I like all his movies and taped a bunch of renegade when it was on tv.

I also agree....one of the best shows ever made....if anyone decides to get some sort of a petition going and plan to send it to the producers, then i will be more then happy to sign.

reply

hm... ?

he cleared his name in the last ep ??? he busted dixon and he found that tape that prooved his innocence ?? not 100% sure about that tape or what was it.. been long time since it was on tv, and no new dvds out to see it again.. but i do think it happened that way.. in the last scene he and bobby smoked a cigare at bobby's office and said in a way that he is now finally a free man ?

reply

Watch the show again. He never caught Dutch and never cleared his name.

Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up!

When Stephen J. Cannell and Lorenzo Lamas are ready for it... They have to work that out. If they agree to do it the rest of the cast would probably join them... The TV movie will be made...

Yeah true, I havn't seen anything of Lamas in years, not even sure if he still looks the same!

However, Cannell was on a very recent TV documentary here in England where some guy arranged for the cast of the A-Team to meet up, in a show called Bring Back The A-Team.

And as for Sixkiller/Richmond, last I seen of him was when he was a guest star in the Friends spin-off show 'Joey'.

Cannell has only aged a tiny bit, and Richmond still looks the same, so they could defentely still get away with making one last show and pretend it was still 1997 or whenever the final show was.

Lorenzo Lamas plays in The Bold And The Beautiful now. It's something in the vein of his role in Falcon Crest... So he doesn't look the same as in Renegade. He looks like he did in Falcon Crest. However I'm sure they can work something out...

They don't have to pretend it's 1997... That would make the show look like it's out of time. He can also come back in 2006... IMO that would be much better...

And yes Stephen J. Cannell and Lorenzo Lamas still plan to do this in the (near) future...

Since she left the series early it would make since that she wasnt. However, writing her back in would be easy since she is Bobby's sister. Its not like she would just pop up. I imagine she would still be in contact or even around Bobby.

OK, about a year ago Lorenzo Lamas was hocking something and did an interview on my local radio station. Because I knew ahead of time they would be interviewing him, I called and spoke to the DJ who is a friend. I asked him to ask about Renegade, as I loved the series and I hated that it didn't end the way I would have like, not to mention that it didn't really "end". Here is the answer I got, they were working on a script for a made for tv movie that would close out the story with a happy ending. I got the impression that the movie was already financed and so forth, but they were waiting on a final script and that Stephen J. Cannal and Branscomb Richmond were on board for the movie. Since that interview, I have seen absolutely nothing about this movie.
