renegade question.
Do you know how RENEGADE ended? When the show switched from UPN to USA, I was not able to watch it anymore, as I did not have cable at the time.
I thank you for your attention and time.
Sincerly,
Kurt

One could say that Bobby would assume Reno is a free man because of things that were constantly ignored in Renegade, like the rule of evidence, ballistics, due process, and things like that. (It was a great show, and I will always love it, and I'm still hoping seasons 4 and 5 will hit DVD, but let's face the truth - the show completely ignored the reality of the criminal justice system.)
LWC is correct in his explanation of the end of the show. And yes, Reno did discuss with Bobby and Chey the prospect of leaving the country. Twice, I think. He didn't want to do it, because he said that would mean Dutch 'wins.' Reno wanted to see it through to the end. That whole chivalry and justice thing.
It's also worth noting, just to clarify exactly how the show ended: It didn't end. Renegade was cancelled before the show's loose ends could be tied up, and since no TV or cinema movie was ever released either, we simply have no idea what became of Reno, Dutch, or any of the other main characters. It's very unfortunate.
I'd like to think that it didn't end, and Reno is still hunting bounties... Chey is still being all cute and sexy, and Bobby is still headbutting and closelining the bad guys! I'd like to think that the dude is still reciting that opening scene each and every day! And I'd really like to think that the Harley is still roaming around with that sawed-off in the saddle bag!
shareYou do realize this show was a work of fiction, so after it got cancelled, thats it. Reno doesn't exist in real life to go hunting after anybody
sharethe show never realy ended.
there was is still is talks about a 2 hour made for tv movie just like the pilot.
only this time unlike the pilot telling how it all started this two hours movie/show will tell how it ends.
that is what was posted on the message board and also the buss on the internet.
One note, a few years ago I had the opportunity to ask (thru a DJ) Lorenzo Lamas about the show and the possibility of putting an end to this show that would make the viewers happy.
He stated that there were things in the works to make a reunion movie (I assume tv) to tie up the lose ends and make everyone happy. However several years later I see nothing about that in the works.
Has anyone else seen/heard anything along those lines?
No
