Ep Where Buchmans Go To Movies?

Does anyone remember the episode where they go to the movies? I think one of their mothers was with them...

I wouldn't mind seeing that episode again because I attended the taping, and because my cousin worked on the show, I ended up as part of the "audience" (basically people in the crew) seated around them in that scene...

It's called The City from the 3rd season

I'm glad he's single, because I'm gonna climb that like a tree.

Thanks!

--just watched part of that episode on YouTube. Very low quality, but it doesn't look like the scene I was in. My memory is that they were with their mother, and not interacting so much with the people around them. The establishing shot was wider, and I was visible on the left edge of the frame.

Will keep looking!

I think you're talking about the series finale. The scene you describe takes place in the future. They are there to see Mabel's first film.

If you were observing this nutty planet, would YOU want to make contact?

I read this post last week and it has been bothering me ever since. Guess which episode comes on this morning? I believe you are talking about S3,ep2 titled "Home" where the Brits try to buy the Buchmans apartment and Murray knocks up their dog. That has to be the one.

Sylvia brought grapes. Whaaaaaaat?

It's not the series finale, because I don't have it, I think it's the one where Sylvia wants Paul and Jamie to take the apartment in her building.

Swing away, Merrill....Merrill, swing away...

Cupcake, you eagle eyed TV watcher! I just saw your post a couple of days ago, and today found a streamable version of the episode. That is indeed the show I'm in -- for all of about 4 seconds!

It's when the mother and a guy arrive at the theatre, and they cut to a wider shot. You see them coming down the aisle on the left side of the frame, past me. I turn my head to the left to pretend to talk to the guy sitting next to me. I still feel guilty about him not being seen, because he was such a huge fan of the show. If I had known how they were framing the shot, I would have traded seats with him.

Anyway, thanks so much for the help!
