I remember watching that, both as a kid and more recently.
I didn't realize they were friends before the accident. The two-part episode where Two-Face came about is particularly well-written.
I agree. It's a shame we didn't get a good movie adaptation of him til 2008. Then again it's also a shame he stopped being used in comics in 1959 so that my dad who was born in the mid 50s didn't know about him.
