My 22d fave episode and the first sneek preview episode that aired August of 1992.
I still remembered the first time it aired on prime time as a sample episode it became one of my fave episodes and the transformation from Kirk to Man-Bat was incredible, i thought Man-Bat was one badass creature.

I saw it first at the 1992 Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC (always a great show, by the way). The DC booth had it running on a loop. I had seen an article in Comic Scene magazine (Starlog's comic fanzine) and was intrigued with the designs, but wasn't sure if they would carry it off. That preview made me a believer. The series debut cinched it.
