Was Dr. Marvin just as obsessed with Bob as Bob was with Dr. Marvin?
Dr. Marvin seemed to be way too focused on trying to get rid of Bob during the second half of the movie.
shareI think that's the point. Dr. Marvin didn't give the care he should have to Bob. Plus at one point he says he never gets angry or upset. Which means he kept his feelings inside. That lead to him losing his mind and exploding in anger over the whole situation with Bob to the point where he tried to kill him.
