Honestly...picking up J.D. seems a little out of character for Louise. She is very cautious and sometimes paranoid...then she just basically says *uck it...we will give him a ride. Maybe it's just me...but if they hadn't picked him up...they probably would have made it!

shareI agree. And actually aside from him stealing their money (which led to their robberies) I didn't think the character offered much to the plot.

He was pleasurable to her for a moment.
Everything doesn't always serve as a guiding force to victory, or explain why you are experiencing whatever it is you're going through.
Life can be quite random.
