Fuck you ya little dipshit!

Dipshit?
Did you call…moi, a dipshit?
😆

I always felt sorry for those guys. As I recall they just came over to help him out.

reply

True. And the black dude got his hand/wrist broken as a thank you. It just proves you should never help strangers with anything. They might be dipshits, or terminators.

reply

The white guy was lucky he never got his scalp ripped off when the terminator picked him up by his hair. Horrible to watch, that scene.

Same here. I don't like that scene at all, for exactly that reason. And it's why I find myself always rewatching the original more often than T2 (that, and hysterical Sarah).

John was such a little POS in this scene. He needlessly insults a good samaritan who was checking on his wellbeing after he screamed for help then orders Arnold to violently assault him for insulting him back.

reply

Everyone is guilty of flexing every once in a while. This was John’s first time, probably, to have any power over an adult. Riding dirt bikes and robbing atms gets tedious after a while. Sometimes you wanna just teach a jock douche bag a lesson ya know?

reply

That was Cameron's intention, to make John realise the gravity of what he has at his disposal, and how he must be careful.

It still made him unlikable though haha.

reply

So you didn't empathize with John when he and his mother were hugging and crying after Sarah Conner couldn't kill Myles Dyson at his house? I was tearing up a bit. Also at the ending when Arnie couldn't self-terminate.

reply

Yes, definitely. I just meant unlikable in that scene haha, which could've ruined his character with much of the audience, but didn't. The rest of the film he's alright I think.
