Same here...I remember crying when the Terminator was going into the lava.

lucky man i wasnt alive when this movie came out. watched it from a library card rental as a kiddo tho and really enjoyed back in the 2000s

me too , at a special "week early" showing .
and the local trailers hadnt ruined/spoiled it .
We'd only seen the T1000 in the Guns & Roses video , which didnt give anything away .

at a proper cinema too! before they all got replaced with smaller screened , higher priced , "multiplexes "

This one holds a special place in my heart, as I worked at a movie theater when this was released. The release was perfectly timed for the 4th of July here in the states, a Thursday, so an 8 pm sold-out opener on the 3rd followed by a sold-out midnight showing made for quite the long, extended weekend.

Still one of my favorite movie experiences, despite working all of those days. But I had plenty of opportunities to see my favorite chase scenes…good times!

I don’t remember seeing this at the cinema but I rented it on vhs as soon as it became available.

I must say what an experience too, those cutting edge effects! I’d never seen anything like it before. This film still looks great now.

I saw this in 3d when it got rereleased august of 2017!glad i saw it on the big screen twice!

One of the best movies I ever saw in the theatre. I definitely miss those days as well.
