Why does the T-1000 not go straight to the Voight residence?
When the T-1000 spawns in under the 6th Street Bridge, he kills the cop and dresses up in his uniform, then hops straight in the cop car and enters in John Connors name on the computer looking up his file and gets his address straight away, which is 19828 Almond Ave (which is a fake address because the houses ACTUAL address is 19828 Valerio Street, Winnetka.)
My question is... If the two terminators need to get to John Connor so desperately and are basically racing against each other to get to him first, Why did the T-1000 not go straight to John Connors house then and there as soon as he found out what his address was? Being very late at night (possibly early hours of the morning), John and his foster parents would have most likely been asleep at this time making it the perfect time for the T-1000 to strike, but instead he doesn't go to their house looking for John until the following morning.
Finding his address so quickly would have given the T-1000 a huge advantage over the other terminator to reach John first, so why did the T-1000 not take advantage when he had the chance. So I guess that raises two more questions... What was the T-1000 doing for the rest of the night? and secondly, How did the T-800 find out where John lived? Looked in the address book like the terminator does in the first film to find Sarah?
If anyone reading this lives in L.A. how long do you think it would take for the T-1000 to drive from the 6th street bridge to Winnetka? (if he was in a hurry), a plausible theory is the T-1000 spent the rest of the night driving as these two locations are a fair way away from each other. another theory is the T-1000 didn't know about the other terminator at all until Todd and Jannelle mention it to him, so he just took his time a bit more. Just curious to see what everyone else thinks about it all.
