That line felt out of a character for a terminator to say at the end of the movie and was more suited for John Kimble in Kindergarten Cop.

I totally agree. I liked how the Terminator's actions were more or less realistic and believable throughout the movie but the "I need a vacation" and "Now I know why you cry" kind of disappointed me.

"I'm the dude, playing a dude that's disguised as another dude".

I remember seeing this many times in the theater back in summer '91 and the audience had a good laugh at that scene each time. It was actually a nice touch to add in there.
