Were the audiences packed? Did they go crazy over memorable scenes (i.e. The T-800 reaching John first, and the scene where he says "Hasta La Vista, Baby")? Did they applaud incredibly loudly during the ending?

shareAudience definitely was packed when I saw it opening weekend(Sat afternoon). No clapping at the end. I think early in the film the audience was wary about going all in with the characters and their dramatic/comedic lines. However, by the middle of the flick with all the suspense, action, and Arnold on a motorcycle carrying a shotgun..we were ALL IN!

Best time in the movie theater ever for me.
shareSaw this twice on opening weekend here in LA. Audiences clap for anything good. Now, 26 years later, i still have the same one and only issue: no way John Connor started out a whining little *beep* like Ed Furlong. Always was and always will be the worst casting choice.
