Would he actually want to wear women's clothes?

OK, this is a story about a guy who is turned against his will into a woman, but supposedly still the same guy underneth. But then the day he's turned into a woman he starts putting on dresses and make-up and even wearing high heels! Unless he liked to secretly cross-dress or at least had fantasies of doing so as a man, I really don't think he'd want to start doing it when he was physically turned female, regardless of what anyone else thought. I guess maybe it was to fit in better, but in this post womens lib-era it's not at all strange to see a woman dressed in pants and gender-neutral clothing. My point is that if this happened to me there's no way in hell I'd want to wear women's clothes for any reason, and I'd be damned before I'd put on high heels, which are completely impractical and, as I understand, uncomfertable, and I think should go the way of the dinosaur.

He loved his new body, wanted to show it off, and frankly he managed to get his way with many things by doing this.

If it happened to me I'd probably start out with pants and once I was more comfortable dress more femininely, though a big no to high heels. Probably he was trying to look like how he felt a woman should, i.e. in female clothing.
