Well he did force his katra into Bones so he seems to be a repeat offender. :-)
I think Wonder Woman’s “lasso of truth” came from the theme of sexual bondage and female domination.
He only does it when it's absolutely necessary to help someone or the group. He rarely does it without the consent of the other person.
