Wait, wait, wait, hold up a minute.............

Ok the Klingon moon explodes, two months later the negotiations start for peace between Klingons and Federation.

So when exactly did Chang and his co-horts have the time to build this prototype Bird-of-Prey they used? They couldn't have gotten it built in two months which means they would have had to have been working on it for much longer, but that wouldn't have made sense since there was no reason for the peace summit until after Praxis exploded.

reply

Who ever stated that the prototype was built in response to the Praxis explosion? Right, no one. It could have just been a top-secret new weapon being developed that Chang and others in the military elite were privy to, one that came in handy when they began to conspire. Why do you think the weapon was created as a direct response to the Praxis explosion rather than just being a new weapon that had been worked on in secret?

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

reply

It didn't need to be planned for use against the Federation either, at least not to start with. They might have been working on it for a long time already to take part in a coup against the chancellor even before Praxis.

In the Sulu episode of Voyager they got the time wrong by saying that Kirk and McCoy were arrested two days after moon explodes
