Which Blu-ray release to get?

I'm currently trying to watch the entire Star Trek franchise via Netflix, but Undiscovered Country and First Contact are not available. I do eventually want to get at least some (if not all) of Trek on Blu-ray, but I'm confused over which release to get (single release or box set), and Amazon's descriptions don't seem to be of much help.

I want the longest version possible on Blu-ray.

Also, a comparison of the bonus features would be nice.

They all contain the same version of the movies on Blu-ray, the Theatrical versions.

Its only on DVD you can get other versions of the movies, up to The Undiscovered Country.
Here you can experience with The Collectors Edition of Undiscovered Country, that it has a few extra added scenes.
So it goes for a few of the other Collectors Editions of Star Trek II to V.

The Directors Edition of TMP, is a whole different ballgame. Its almost like an entirely new movie.
Many scenes shortened, new scenes added, many scenes re-edited and the special effects has been completely changed with better CGI effects, so it stands entirely how Robert Wise originally had visualized the movie.

Thanks. I'm still not sure what to do re: UC. Maybe get a cheap DVD at Walmart or something. But I wanna watch it before I watch VOY: "Flashback".

I don't think they'll have it on wal mart, but you can find those collector's editions of all the films for like, 1 cent + 3.99 shipping and handling (so $4 basically) on amazon. this is the one:

http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-VI-Undiscovered-Collectors/dp/B0000UJL96/ref=tmm_dvd_title_1?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1443865858&sr=8-4

apparently they have the director's cut available digitally as well:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B00381D76C?ie=UTF8&keywords=undiscovered%20country&qid=1443865858&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

the run time looks right too.
