Does this movie Ignore TFF?
Is there any indication that the events of TFF are regarded in this movie, or is it just completely ignored (as TMP largely was by Harve Bennett)?

Don't forget the whole "Kirk Camp-Site Dream" theory that has sprung up in fan circles over the years! 😀
"Never been this close!" says Kirk, forgetting the ending of The Final Frontier.
Poor V, will always be considered the bastard child of TrekVerse thanks to Shatners bitchiness ... Sad that the best part of the movie was the miniature work of the shuttlecraft crash landing into the shuttlebay.
99 levels... jeez, that would have made the enterprise the same size as a Borg Cube.
Now, now. It was only 76.

Todd Bryant makes a cameo appearance during the Kirk/McCoy Klingon trial-sequence, reprising his Star Trek V role as Captain Klaa (this time serving as translator during the proceedings). So right there's at least one direct connection to the previous movie, for what it's worth.
