I love the "Don't wait for the translation!" line
In case some of you don't know your history, that is a quote from the Cold War. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, Adlai Stevenson, the American ambassador, presented photographic proof of the existence of the nuclear missiles in Cuba to the Soviet ambassador, Zorin. Stevenson asked,
"Do you, Ambassador Zorin, deny that the USSR has placed and is placing medium- and intermediate-range missiles and sites in Cuba? Yes or no. Don’t wait for the translation — yes or no?"
Zorin laughed, shrugged it off, and replied,
"I am not in an American courtroom, sir, and therefore I do not wish to answer a question that is put to me in the fashion in which a prosecutor does. In due course, sir, you will have your reply. Do not worry."
Stevenson famously responded:
"I am prepared to wait for my answer until hell freezes over, if that's your decision."
Pretty appropriate for this movie, considering they were about to be sent to Rura Penthe. Watch the exchange for yourself here:
