1) How could they cut Chip up so bad, his arms, legs and head w/ just a switchblade?

2) (The more disturbing one) Did they rape Kate while killing her?

3) What exactley do you classify them as? I mean their not like 'ghost' in the traditional since as they are in physical form, Lawson fells it win Jimmy grabs him in the hallway and when Sally punches him at the church, and they aren't zombies as they appear and act human. So what are they?

also, what was the point of them grabbing Chip's leg like they way they did? Were they tickling him or something?

Did anyone else think they came across really gay? Between grabbing Chip's leg, and that weird high-pitched laugh, they didn't exactly come across manly to me.

i think the running theme in this [and carried over to the sequel] is that they were demons. that's why they had powers, could change appearances, disappear, couldnt go in churches, and had 'demon' faces in the car scene.. and not just 'dead' faces.
