This movie's got to be in Stephen kings top 3

This movie was legendary on 9 different levels. I'm just wondering if you guys agree?

It is a really good movie but top 3? Not for me, but each to his own!

My top three would be -

The Shining
The Green Mile
The Shawshank Redemption

Honourable mentions for Stand by Me, Misery, Carrie, Cujo and The Dead Zone.

I know Stephen King is "the Horror Master" but his drama is amazing. The Shawshank Redemption is one of the most moving films ever made. He may be known for the "shlock" which is good, but he has a knack for getting inside and pulling something out of the reader.

I'd say Pet Sematary, The Shining and The Dead Zone.

I'll take Salem's Lot over all of them...1979 version.

Sorry. I did like the movie. It was pretty good. However, I don't agree that it would be in Stephan Kings top 3. There are several of other ones that are better. Misery, The shining, Children of the Corn, The Langoliers, Creep show, Salems Lot and Carrie. I will say again that I did like the movie though! The ghosts were cute! lol

I like cats named nightmare. I have a "nightmare" every night!

Decent little film sure, but come on. Stephen King has some legendary movies and mini-series made of his work.

The Shining, Carrie, Salem's Lot, Cujo, Pet Sematary, It, The Dead Zone, Christine, Firestarter, Children of the Corn, Silver Bullet, The Mist, 1408, Misery, Doctor Sleep, Storm of the Century, The Night Flier, Creepshow, Rose Red etc, etc.

That's just the horror work, not to mention stuff like The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile & Stand By Me.

Come to think of it Sometimes They Come Back would honestly struggle to make the top 20. Not that it's bad but the competition is ridiculous.

King himself did not find this film very fascinating. He deemed it bland.
