Ok, when he is trapped in the car, what was the point of them grabbing his leg like that? Were they tickling him or something? Also, it is implied that he was cut into pieces but, they only had a knife. How do you suppose they did it and wonder if he was ever found?

On most regular cable and broadcast TV, they usually censor what happened. Watch the unedited version. They cut him up into pieces.
We see the greaser's car from the bridge and they toss out two arms, two legs, a torso and (fumbiling with it) his head out of the window into the water below. The flames then shoot out of the car and they drive off.
Even though the greasers only had a knife, since they're demons they probably have superhuman strength and could have just torn him apart.
