In terms of changing the gender of the originals I considered Lady Gaga for Buffalo Bill. I think she would refuse to portray gender challenged people in a negative way though. I think that character wouldn't be possible now in general.

Plus, since she already wore an outfit on the red carpet made of raw meat, wearing a suit made of human flesh would be right up her alley. ;-)
