If you stick around for the credits, there are some good ones. "Assistant Moth Wrangler and Stylist" has to be one of the most unique credits I have ever seen listed in a movie.

Also, did anyone else really like how they did the credits? I thought it was interesting to have rolling footage of that random street with nothing going on, but the knowledge that somewhere offscreen Lecter was stalking his next victim. Unique compared to the average black screen and white text.

Assistant Moth Wrangler and Stylist

The supposed death's head on the death's head sphinx moth really doesn't resemble a skull except in a Rorschach sort of way, i.e. unless you really stretch your imagination. So they hired a "moth stylist" to paint a more convincing image of a skull onto the thoraxes of the sphinx moths to make it more dramatic.

I thought it was interesting to have rolling footage of that random street with nothing going on, but the knowledge that somewhere offscreen Lecter was stalking his next victim.

It's especially effective because his next victim is going to be Chilton.
