A funny urban legend related to this movie...
Like many urban legends, there isn't a shred of proof this actually happened, but it's a hilarious story all the same.
A young couple loved the song "Everything I Do, I Do It For You." So when they were planning their wedding, the bride figured she'd surprise her groom. She told the church organist that she wanted him to play "the theme from Robin Hood" as she walked down the aisle.
The organist looked skeptical. "I know the song, but are you sure that's what you want?"
"Yes, I am," the bride replied. "That song's important to us. If you play it as my processional, there's a bonus in it for you."
So the wedding day arrived. Everything was perfect, the bride looked beautiful, she was at the back of the church on her father's arm...
...and the organist started playing the theme from the old Robin Hood TV series with Richard Todd. ("Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen...")
The bride tried to signal the organist that he was playing the wrong Robin Hood theme, but she couldn't get his attention, and so there was nothing to do but march quick-time down the aisle to the rollicking music.
