My Ex Husband swears when this movie first came out the beginning of it with Mimi Rogers and Duchvney in bed was like x-rated but later copies have since been edited. Does anybody know anything about that?

Who cares! It's a lousy piece of clap-trap! Mimi's acting is barely passable when she is not choking out her hackney lines. And David is just awful in this!

I saw this movie about 8-10 years ago, and I remember an orgy scene at the beginning with Rogers, Duchovny, and another man (I don't remember which character). I thought it was pretty racy! I saw it on video, and I haven't seen it since, so I don't know if this has been edited out. I didn't like the movie, so I don't plan on getting a new copy to see if that's true.

Are you sure you are not remembering the "swinging scene" where Mimi and Bauchau pick up Duchovney and his "lady" who I am not even sure who she is in the credits? They go back to Bachau's store and he watches while Duchovny, Mimi and the unknown woman have a threesome. Later while Duchovny and Rogers talk, Bachau and the other woman have sex on the bed.
Is that the scene you were thinking of?
I saw this film in 1991 or 1992, and have seen it a couple of times since. I don't remember any X-rated scenes. They had an orgy and showed Duchovny's butt and a topless chick, but that was it. Maybe it is another film you are thinking about.
shareI don't know about this movie, but what you are saying regularly happens. Often a theatrical release will be racy, but then when it goes to video it is edited and censored. This does happen a lot.
shareIt's been years since I've been here. I did not see the original but my ex did. He can exagerate sometimes which is why I asked the question. Sounds like something more happened than the version I saw. Weird movie.
