Really stupid line...
After Quigley manages to first punch Marsden out of his own house twice, then systematically and efficiently dispatch all but two of Marsden's men while eluding capture for several weeks, they finally manage to capture Quigley and drag him back behind a horse.
Marsden sarcastically says to the last two of his men still alive : "The great Quigley...so *this* is what you all were afraid of".
Yeah, I guess Quigley was some kind of poser the whole time.
