Only thing I didn't like *spoilers*

The only thing I didn't like about this movie is the explanation that the puppets are really Jews that were killed by the nazis. I think it's better if they're just animated puppets who don't have a real identity.

It's enver actually revealed they were Jewish. Pinhead was smuggling food to them, so most likely he wasn't. And I don't believe Elsa or Doctor Hess were either. Hess was a scientist either forced to work for them, or he really was a Nazi himself. Hess was just more interested in science and Toulon's forumla than what Hitler and others wanted.

I'm not sure why the puppets turned out to be human. I guess Courtney Joyner wanted to try something new. Explains why in part 2 Torch has no human indentity. And in the original, Jester was actually created before Toulon shot himself you know.

Didn't Toulon shoot himself in part 1 in the year 1939? I thought I remembered it saying that. But then in part 3 he's alive in the 40s.

Yes he did. The later films made continuity errors. Charles Band didn't care whether they fit with the original or not.

Oh, just move that a couple years and say that he actually killed himself in 1942.

Toulon killing himself in 1939 makes more sense than 1945, or whatever it was retconned to. Nazi agents running around in America during the war, or right after, would kind of noticeable.

Thit and thpin!

I remember Krauss saying Elsa was Jewish after he shot her.

"The people it kills get up and kill!"

Was that when Kraus was driving in the car afterwards?

reply

I'm not positive, but I think it was after Hess expressed his disgust at Krauss killing Elsa.

At the meeting with General Mueller and Dr. Hess shortly afterward Krauss says "I don't see the death of the Jew woman as a problem."

reply

I thought it enhanced the movie because it added history and more character to the puppets.

Yeah, I think they were in a car when that happens. I don't recall him saying she was Jewish. Been a while since I last watched this one. I should get around to seeing it again.

I thought that was kind of cool. It gave this movie a little more "oomph" then the rest of Full Moon's pieces of crap.
What I loved about this movie is the fact that it was a period piece and that it seemed to have somewhat of a decent enough budget to create a WWII Nazi Germany. For a Full Moon film, this is pretty good (for a FULL MOON FILM). In the real movie world I would put this on par with the quality of a "Friday the 13th" movie.

if you hate full moon so much why do watch them?
