Multiple endings

Apparently multiple endings of Psycho 4 were shot to protect the surprise of the ending. Does anyone know what the other endings were???

Imposted this after seeing the introduction Janet Leigh gave to this film when it was first broatcast....it can be seen on youtube.com btw...but no1 replied so i guess not

To be honest I doubt any other endings were filmed. Janet Leigh wouldn't have known, she was simply reading a script that aid there were. It's not like it would have had the budget to film lots of endings, or needed to have lots of endings (like Clue for example) to hide any surprise, and also no other ending really would have worked. I suppose Norman could have killed Connie but it would have been a bit downbeat for a cable movie.

Yes, I suppose so, but Janet Leigh says in her TV introduction that there were a few other endings filmed. If you ask me another ending is that Norman could have killed himself at the end of the film! But then maybe that would be a bit downbeat as well. So I really don't know.

It's definitely not a classic, but it is a good sequel.

Yes, the ending was good, but apparently multiple endings were shot to protect the surprise. At least that's what Janet Leigh said in the TV introduction. Although the ending wasn't really much of a surprise. In fact I think it was even left open for one more sequel!

Not Really, The Burning Of The Sinister House Closed The Book...I Don't Think They could Have Made Another, Even If Tony Perkins Was Still Alive...The Whole Source of Norman's Insanity was Gone.

most probably:
1.He kills Connie
2.Connie kills him
3.He gets killed when he started the fire
4.they have some sappy scene where she has the baby
5.He kills the radio host

it can go on.

Those are all good possibilites. I'm a bit confused about the last one though. Why would he kill the radio host??

Another possibility could be that he kills himself.

it just seems like it would be possible since she was on screen for so long.

I actually remember reading in T.V. Guide or some other magazine that one ending had Norman holding the crying baby soothing him (the baby) in the voice of "Mother". I can't rmember where I read this, I just remmeber reading it.
