Just awful writing. Psycho 4 has the signs of a desperate, untalented

That's when you know a sequel is just dreadful...the individual responsible for the script finds a word in the original like "inordinately" and chose to repeat it again and again and again as if to say "hey, remember from the first movie....taking from it will surely make this prequel feel as if its right at home"

I noticed that too. They kept adding bits from the first Psycho into it...

It was written buy the guy who wrote the Psycho Screenplay.

That doesn't make it better.

That doesn't mean he wasn't trying to haphazardly tie the films together.

It's like George Lucas having Chewbacca show up in Attack of the Clones.

I agree 100%.

This movie was a complete insult to Hitchcock's masterpiece and the original screenplay.

II was ok, III + IV were completely unnecessary and a waste of time.
