PSYCHO V
22 years later.
The last time we caught up with Norman Bates he had put all of his ghosts to rest and torched his childhood home. The past was in the past. The book was closed on that part of his life. He never talked about it again. Nobody did. Before long people forgot what had happened. Norman and his wife, Connie, were able to move on with their lives with their new beautiful baby girl, Patricia.
In the late 90s, Norman passed away. His soul was finally set free. Patricia grew up never knowing who her father really was. Now, with her mother passing on, she’s ready to move on with her life. She’s started attending college and while going through her parent’s paperwork finds the deed to the Bates Motel. With the motel being in the middle of nowhere along a deserted stretch of road it was never torn down after the fire. Nobody had taken much interest in it. Needing money to help pay her way through college, Patricia, decides to get a group of friends and go out to the old motel and start business up again.
With a fresh paint of coat and some modern upgrades the motel was ready for business. The burned house overlooks all the happenings. Business is slow, but they are making enough money to afford all that they need. Soon, Patricia begins hearing stories of the motel. Overnighters tell her the ghastly stories of one Norman Bates. She learns who her father really was. Now, knowing the mythology, legend and truth of who her father is Patricia slowly starts descending into the pits of hell. It’s not long before mother resumes her position in the bedroom window and the body count starts back up.
Is mother back from the grave? Has Norman’s spirit returned to continue his rampage? Does Patricia hold within her the same bad seed in her, and is hell bent on picking up right where her father left off? People, who deserve to be punished…should be. OR is someone in town worried about another Bates being around that they will stop at nothing to make sure there is not a repeat of what happened in the past?
