I know this film used the Florida Psycho house as opposed to the original in CA.

The Florida house is supposedly an exact copy of the CA house, but for some reason, in this film, the house looks a lot shorter and more 'squat' than in the other 3 films.

The different appearance is just due to the way it was filmed- lighting, camera lenses, angles, etc. I can tell you from first hand knowledge that the FL set was an inch-by-inch recreation of the original set in CA.
