This was about the lowest point in her career after she showed so much promise in "Romeo...". She was also totally wrong for the role. You're supposed to hate Normans mother. She just didn't have the required viciousness. Where is she now?

I think she did a great job. In all the other films of hers I've seen she is always so kind, gentle, and sweet but in this film she proved she could play someone evil and cruel just as well. I really liked this film and don't think she should be ashamed of it at all because she did a good job and was well cast. She was my favorite part of the film.
shareI just saw her in Black Christmas. I'll check out Psycho 4 again. It's a mistake to typecast her from Romeo and Juliet. Of course she's a versatile actress.
