shareshes good, she gives the film energy doesnt she, i think olivia hussey is slightly flat in this role (thats FLAT not fat lol) so i think if the radio broadcaster had been dull, it would have knocked the momentum of the film down. i dont like her or dislike her particularly but i relaise she helps the film a lot, she does seem a good actress though, she obviously listens to a lot of radio phone ins because shes quite convincing.
shareI liked her as well, she does give the film energy. Well done to her :)
shareOlivia Hussey was FLAT? Seriously? With all her freakout scenes? And that death scene? Did we watch the same movie?
shareI thought CCH Pounder was fine as the talk radio show host. As other posters have already commented she brings a great deal of energy to her part and keeps the momentum going throughout.
I enjoy keeping busy. Satan finds work for idle hands.

Indeed. I thought she was horrible in this movie. However, I do like her over all....good on the shield at any rate.
CCH Pounder was excellent in this film, and she did a great job in providing the transition between the "old" and the "young" Norman here. I was a lot more interested in the radio host than in Norman's wife, and I would have been very happy if the film ended with the radio host staging some kind of intervention to save his wife (and his child) instead of the way it ended. It's too bad the host didn't get to meet Norman in person.
Normally I don't particularly care for the role of the radio host, which seems all too common in TV and film. But CCH Pounder was outstanding!
Can't stand her or her damn cigarettes.
shareShe's the best part of a lot of duff movies (Sliver, End of Days). She's good in telly too (X files, ER).

CCH is always 100% committed to whatever character she's playing. Even in a turkey like Psycho IV, she brings an element of realism because she is just so believable as her character.
