Think this will ever come to Blu-Ray?
I'd really like to have this on Blu-Ray. The DVD versions are cropped 4:3 and don't contain the deleted scenes. Do you think this will ever come to Blu-Ray or is there not that much of an audience for it?

Actually, if you take a look at both films' "aspect ratio" pages on imdb, you'll see that the original film and "Problem Child 2" were initially filmed in full frame 1.33, then cropped to 1.85 for their theatrical releases.
Therefore the U.S. DVD's transfers of the films are not pan and scanned, just "open matte". Still, I wanna see this film and it's pre-quel receive a proper widescreen treatment over here in the states sooner or later.
The U.S. (so far) only received proper widescreen editions of both films back on Laserdisc; there's a region 4 DVD box set of the three "Problem Child" movies, featuring all three in 1.78 widescreen. 'Tis a shame Universal in the U.S. missed out on such luxury.

Universal was supposed to put out PC 1 and 2 on Blu, late last year, but they pulled it.
