What version i saw (spoilers) ?

I read that the movie got cut for avoid an NC-17 rating and the uncut version is avaliable somewhere, i watched it yesterday on tv and it looked very violent for an action movie made in the 90's.

There is a scene during the final confrontation where Gino shot some thug in the knee and his leg gets severed !

That IS the uncut version. You would never see that on TV nowadays with the PC society we live in.

I think there's actually two versions of the movie that kept the scene where that guy gets his leg blown off. In the full uncut version the guy is screaming "You took my leg!" In the recent blu ray release, the leg scene is still in there but no screaming.

wait....are you saying that the regular R-Rated version still has the leg beign blown off but it lacks of the scream ?
Or there are 2 uncut versions, one with the scream and one without it ?

I just watched the Blu-ray, and he did scream "you took my leg" about a thousand times.
